Gaylord Hotel

On the 23rd of December daddy thought it would be fun to spend the night at the Gaylord hotel in Maryland. It was fun to get out of the house and sleep some place different. Daddy and I went swimming for 20 minutes the first night before the pool closed. I was so sleepy that I didn't last long. We watched the fountain light show to music and then ate some dinner. All the restaurants were crowded so we got take out and ate in the bedroom. The next morning, which was Christmas Eve, we went for the breakfast buffet at one of the restaurants. It was very good. I ate a ton. Then daddy took me to see the fountains up close while mommy finished eating. Then we went back to the room and got ready to go swimming. We all went this time and the twins slept in their car seats while daddy and I swam in the big pool and mommy relaxed in the hot tub. Mommy and daddy forgot my swim diapers, so we had to use a regular one and it just filled up really full with water. Mommy thought it was funny. Then we packed up and mommy dropped daddy off at the train station so he could go to work for a couple hours. I fell asleep on the way home to Mimi and Papi's house. Daddy missed his stop on the train and Papi had to pick him up in Manassas. We ate some dinner and then headed to church. Mommy and daddy didn't take any pictures that day, so we don't have any in our matching outfits. Again, I was really tired that night and fell asleep in Mimi's bed without a problem.

Here is daddy and I in the courtyard. So pretty at night.

This was the view out our window.

Here is mommy and I with the view of the courtyard from above.

At the breakfast table getting ready to eat buffet!

Me with the fountains.

My huge diaper full of water.

All done swimming and wrapped in my towel.

The arcade was on the way out of the pool area, so I decided to drive a little bit.

Daddy's day off

Because of all the snow, daddy got a Monday off because the government was closed. Mommy decided to go get pictures taken so we could have a Christmas card. It was definitely an adventure. I wouldn't smile for any photos and the photographer scared me. She did nothing to get me to smile either, so mommy and daddy were very upset with the outcome. We did end up getting a family photo though and a holiday card done. I don't think mommy ever finished getting those out either. We waited so long for pictures to be taken I found an airplane to play with. Mommy was taking pictures of me riding it until she got yelled at for taking her own pictures in the photo place.

This is me in my outfit. I liked playing with my beret.

Here is the whole picture of my outfit. Mommy worked really hard on finding matching clothes for Kiptyn, Kylie and I. I match Kylie pretty well though! She did good!

Here is the airplane that I had so much fun playing with while we waited.

Whee! Here I come.

Tons of snow!

Back in mid December we got a huge snow storm. I didn't want to go out in it, but daddy made me. It was super cold too. Daddy tried to take me on the sled, but it didn't go very well. We got so much snow that it was hard for daddy to walk and pull me in the sled. It was fun once I was out there though. We got about 2.5 feet!

Here I am standing next to the huge pile of snow that was in front of the garage door.

Again with all the snow and my sled!

Coco loved it!

This is when mommy and I were hanging out inside for days. This is what I like to do when I want some of mommys food. Sometime drool piles up on my chin and it starts dripping! ha.

This is out Kiptyn and Kylie's bedroom window. How pretty!

Nose kisses

Mommy taught me nose kisses, so here are some pictures of us doing nose kisses!

They are so much fun! You should try them sometime!

Playing catch up....Bethlehem walk

I have lots of back posts to do, so here we go.
One Sunday back in December, mommy and daddy took me to a church up the road to take a tour of Bethlehem. It was really neat. First we listened to people sing Christmas songs before we entered Bethlehem. I got some money, a little clay pot and I even got to pet some goats, donkeys, sheep and chickens in the manger with the baby Jesus. I was scared of the donkeys because they were bigger than me, but the goats were just my size. Mommy helped me pet them. I didn't want to pet the sheep either. It was fun. I hope they take me next year too.

Here I am looking at all the food they grow.

This is where I got my little clay pot.

Here I am with the animals. This is where I was scared at first.

But then mommy helped me pet the goats. Look how cute they are.

Happy 2nd Birthday Haley!

Haley--

Mommy and daddy are very proud of you and what you have accomplished in the last two years! We love you very much and thank you for being you. Our lives have been forever changed because of you. You have made us better people. You amaze us each and everyday with the new things you do and the new words you say. May you keep blossoming and become your own person to achieve great things in life. May all your dreams come true. Lots of love. Hugs and kisses.

Mommy and Daddy

Today you spent the morning in school and had a wonderful day. It was pajama day today too. The teachers said you loved being sung to and playing with the baby doll and calling it Kylie and Kip Kip. You also got very upset that there was no bottle to feed the baby, so you gave them ketchup! You were also very good at swaddling the baby doll! You were excited to open your Mrs. Potato Head doll that they gave you and got really excited at the monkey balloon and the Mickey Mouse balloon. You then napped for two hours and then watched a couple dvd's until it was time to go to meet Mimi, Papi, Auntie and Uncle for dinner at IHOP. You got into daddy's used oil in the garage, so had to change clothes before leaving the house. For dinner you had eggs with cheese, sausage and a pancake with apples on it. Then had some ice cream and pistachios for dessert after the wait staff sang to you. You opened gifts from Mimi and Papi, which was a Dr. Seuss book, Auntie and Uncle, a Little Einsteins book and then a bag of pistachios from all of them. You also got a giant 2 balloon! We then went home and you went night night. May this be a reminder of what you did on your second birthday! Here are some pictures.

With your Mrs. Potato Head

With your balloons

With your new Dr. Seuss book

First post of 2010!

Happy New Year and happy birthday to daddy! Today for daddy's birthday he took me to Frostival. We went on all sorts of rides. I also got to sit in my new toddler seat on the Escalade of strollers! Lili and Howhow got it for me for Christmas and my birthday! I liked it. It was fun to sit up high and be able to see many things. Daddy took me on all the rides, slides and moon bounces even though I was super tired. We were supposed to be there by 10, but we didn't make it out of the house until 12. We were also supposed to see Rocknoceros play at 12, but didn't make it in time, so we had to wait around till their show at 3. Which was way past my nap time, I was really tired. We left the show early and headed home. It was fun though. Too bad daddy didn't get to go anywhere for his birthday dinner because I fell asleep in the car. Sorry daddy. Hope you had a good birthday anyways! :)
This is me in my new toddler seat with Kylie and Kiptyn.

This was me riding the swings! Whee!

Then I rode the bop bops around in a circle.

Next I rode the dinosaur.

One moon bounce has a huge slide...here is me on the way down.

Here I am with daddy on a ride. Daddy got dizzy and wanted to throw up!

This is me while Rocknoceros was playing. I was so tired I could've slept on the floor.

We will hopefully go back tomorrow or the next day to ride some more rides and do some crafts, when I am not as tired.
