Another wedding...

Yesterday, we had another wedding to go to. But this time it was local. It was one of daddys co-workers. I loved listening to the choir singing when we got there. Then once the ceremony started I started to get antsy and daddy had to have me walk around to let my energy out. But at least I wasn't the one who was screaming during the ceremony! I had a good time, but there wasn't music for me to dance to, so I had to play with the fountain and have daddy chase after me the whole time! I ate a lot of yummy food again too. I got to meet all of daddy's co workers, they were really nice. But we didn't get out of there until way past my nap time. I fell asleep on the way home while reading a book.

Sitting on mommys lap in church.

Very into the music that the choir was singing.

One of the things that daddy has taught me to do with a champagne glass.

Some of daddys co workers.

How cute am I? I love to read so much, but just couldn't keep my eyes open on the way home to finish the book.

Big girl bed updates

Mommy writing in.

This past week on Tuesday, I put Haley to bed while LT went to the dentist. She was really tired that day from not really having a good nap. She went right down, or so I thought. I went downstairs to watch some of the good shows that are now back on. I kept hearing noises, but I wasn't sure what it was as the cats were still at my parents house. So I just ignored it. At about 7:15 I hear Haley coming down the stairs giggling at me. I get up to go check out the situtation. She climbed out of her crib, opened the door and down the stairs. She was so proud of herself for doing this too. Quickly, I made her get into her big girl bed, had to find sheets for the bed first because I never put new ones on after her athletes foot cream incident and change the sheets. I knew I couldn't put her back in her crib or she would hurt herself. Luckily, she was smart enough to climb from the crib to the big girl bed, which was less of a way down! After I changed the sheets, I had to go looking for a screwdriver, so I could quickly change the doorknob around, so we could lock her in her room. I change the doorknob around, kiss her goodnight and walk out.

As soon as I walk out, LT comes in the door! Of course. She cried at the door for a few minutes and then we heard nothing. We continued to watch TV and then around 8:45 we went to check on her to see where she was. We couldn't get the door open more than a foot because her head was right infront of the door. The first thing LT does is get the camera and takes pictures! Nice father! I tried to wake her up by lifting her head, but she just moved it to face the other way. LT finally had to lift her up enough to wake her up, so she would move enough to get the door open. Her cow was right there next to her on the floor too! It was cute. I moved her to the bed and we were good the rest of the night.

Since that night she has been napping and sleeping at night in her big girl bed! We even moved the crib out of the room this morning! We are very proud of her!
She has also learned to take her pjs off when she wakes up in the morning! Also very proud of herself for doing so!

Another busy weekend

Last weekend we had another busy weekend. I stayed with grammy and grampy on Friday again because mommy had to volunteer for a sale and then daddy joined us when he got off the train from work. We ate a yummy dinner and then daddy tried to put me to bed, but I wouldn't go to sleep for him. I climbed out of my pack n play a couple times to prove my point. So mommy had to come after volunteering to put me to bed. She wasn't very happy about that. I slept like a baby after that.
Saturday, mommy and daddy were up early again to get in line to be able to shop early. They told me they got a lot of good stuff. They got me some winter clothes, a halloween costume, a new pair of new balance shoes, a wagon with seatbelts and some stuff for the twins. When they got home they emptied the van and then got ready to go pick me up. Coco came with them too. I got to see Auntie Iss too that morning! But all I really wanted was daddy. I still wasn't feeling well. Since it has been a while, I forgot to write to say that I had broncitis and an ear infection, so I was on medicine. We finally left grammy and grampys house for our trip to PA for a wedding. We got onto Burke Centre Parkway and daddy realized he didn't have his wallet, so we had to turn around and go home. Then we left the house and got onto the beltway and mommy asked daddy if he packed her bag, daddy didn't know what bag she was talking about, so we had to turn around again. Daddy decided to go 66 and we got stuck in traffic. This was where I fell asleep. Mommy got her bag and made sure they had everything else before they made another trip back to the house! They didn't get back onto the road till after 1. We had already missed the ceremony at this point. I slept for about 2 hours in the car.
We stopped at some park on the way because they thought they were almost there, only to realize they were in Deleware and not PA! ;) Mommy and daddy were bad without their GPS this trip. We fed the ducks for a while and I walked around. Then they put me back into the car and we drove to where the reception was...only to get lost a couple times again.

The family.

But we made it to the reception just in time for it to start...however we weren't even dressed in our nice clothes yet! We changed and then we went to enjoy the reception. I ate a whole bunch of yummy food and danced the night away. We left after 9 to go to Auntie E's house, which was another hour drive. I fell asleep on the way there.

Daddy's PTO friends and their families. They are all married now! They just need kids now, so I have someone to play with!

On Sunday we hung out with Auntie E and I showed her how awful I can be in a restaurant, which I normally don't do. I was in pain though. :( I was also tired because I didn't get my 12 hours of sleep that night. I fell asleep in the car on the way to the outlets. Mommy bought me a shirt and more cheap clearance clothes for the twins. Then we left there and packed our stuff up and had to drive back home. I enjoyed spending time Auntie E and hope I get to see her again soon. I fell asleep in the car on the way home after eating some lunch.

My busy weekend

Last weekend was a busy one for me. Mommy dropped me off at grammy and grampys house for the night so they could wake up early and go to the consignment sale for stuff for me and the babies. Before I went to bed, daddy and grammy gave me a bath in the kitchen sink. It was a lot of fun! Then I went to bed while mommy and daddy went out for dinner.

On Saturday, I woke up about 7 and played with grammy and grampy until mommy and daddy came to get me around 10. Then we packed up the car and headed off to Richmond to see Uncle Teddy and Auntie Anne. I ate most of the car ride and also played with daddys electronic toys. There was no need to nap! We got to uncle and aunties house and I got licked by two big dogs. It was scary, but I managed to keep my distance. Mommy and daddy tried to put me to bed, but I wanted nothing to do with it. Daddy came to get me after 15 minutes and he realized why I couldn't sleep! I pooped! Daddy changed me and then they realized I wouldn't sleep, so we went to the park down the street. Mommy and Auntie Anne drove while daddy, Uncle Teddy and I walked there. The first park was fun. I went down the big slide many times. Uncle Teddy and I raced...he won though. Here are some pictures of the race!

After that we walked over the park that was more my size. I got to swing with Auntie Anne, it was so much fun!
Here is a picture of us.

Then daddy took me back over the playground park and I played with the abacus and all the other things. What a fun park!

After I was done at the park, we left and went to dinner. We ate thai food at a place called Thai Diner. I ate lots of yummy food! When we were all done, we went back to their house and daddy gave me a bath and I went night night.

On Sunday, we took a driving tour of Richmond after having homemade pumpkin pancakes that Uncle Teddy made us! They were super yummy. We ate lunch at a famous pizza place downtown called Bottoms Up. I didn't really eat the pizza though. Mommy and daddy liked it though! Then we drove back home to grammy and grampys to pick up Coco. I napped on the way home, since I was sooo tired.

Thank you Uncle Teddy and Auntie Anne for letting us come visit you guys!! I had so much fun!

A day at the park

Mommy took me to the park last week where we met some of my friends. Mommy actually even brought the camera with her and took pictures! Mommy got very tired of running after me the whole time though, so we werent there long.

Here is me driving the fire truck!

And riding the animal.

Here is my buddy Ellie and I in the tunnel.

Ellie and I played peek-a-boo with mommy. It was fun.

And it even gave mommy some cute pictures of us! :)

I love the park, but mommy won't take me anymore. I'll have to see if daddy will take me from now on until it gets cold!

20 months today!

Yikes...in 4 months she will be 2!! Where the heck has time gone? Wow. I'm not sure I am ready for the two's with Haley, especially with two need additions coming before that! But maybe I am wrong and she will be an angel! ;) I can always dream right?

We don't have any doc appts till 2, so I have no idea what her stats are at this point other than heavy! :) But I think she is still about 30 pounds. She weighed herself at my OB appt last Friday and she was exactly 30 pounds. That hasn't changed much.

What has changed is that she is definitely becoming more vocal now. She has a long list of vocabulary at this point, at least enough to get her point across. Here is a list of her words: (if I can remember them)

--more (she just started saying this as opposed to signing it!)
--bird
--please
--bye bye
--night night
--hello
--grandma (only heard once though) she has called her mei mei though
--up
--kitty
--cat
--boo (the cat)
--boo boo (for an ouchie)
--mama seems to be her word for something she wants if she doesn't know what it is
--book
--read (this she just said today...I'm trying to get her to say please read instead of throwing the book in our faces!)
--bop bop (horse sound klopp klopp)
--moo
--baa
--ah ah (for the monkey)
--quack quack

That is all I can think of at the moment. It will all come to me as I finish the post of course. But she loves to get books and point to the pictures so you can tell her what they are. She doesn't care about the words in the book right now anymore. She loves the picture dictionaries.

She also does love to throw tantrums when she doesn't get her way or you don't give her the food that she wants. With the food tantrums she often she often flails her arms if she is in the high chair and knocks everything onto the floor. We hope this stage doesn't last long!

She is pretty entertaining though at this age! She will often just crack me up. The big girl bed is the same as the pervious post she made, no big progress there. However we did get child proof things for the doorknob, we just haven't put them on yet. We will see if that helps and then whereever she falls asleep she sleeps! ha. She will eventually learn that her bed is the most comfortable!

Here is a picture of her last pool trip with daddy before the pools closed for the season. She will have to make some posts this week since I just uploaded the pictures from the camera. I'm sure she will want to tell you about her weekend in Richmond with Uncle Teddy and Auntie Anne! :)

Big girl bed and escapade...

Last Sunday, daddy and I read my baby books on my big girl bed (BGB) in the afternoon. Daddy read about puppies, kittens, bears, elephants, and other things I couldn't remember as my eyes were getting very tired.

At night, I told daddy I wanted to 'nite nite' in the big girl bed again and I slept all night. The following night, I told daddy the same but this time, instead of going 'nite nite' right away, I tried to sneak out of the room after daddy left. I opened the door very softly (yes, I can open a doorknob already) and saw daddy looking at me with a smile. I quickly ran back to my BGB and tried to hide but it was too late. Daddy put me back in the BGB once again.

As soon as daddy left again, I tried to escape but got caught once again. After a few more attempted escapades, daddy caught on and put me in the baby jail (crib). Daddy's no fun! *pout*
(Gonna try this on mommy tomorrow :)
