One last July post

Mommy hasn't been taking many pictures of me. I'm not sure why! But here are a couple more pictures from Florida.

This time next week I will be with daddy in California visiting my two aunties and cousins. I'm excited, except I will miss mommy a lot. :(


I loved playing with the doll stroller. I put Chippy's bird toy in it and would walk all around their house. It was fun until Chippy kept taking his bird toy from me.


My next favorite thing to do was go into Chippy's cage and play with the door. It was fun.


This was when I locked myself inside!

That is all for now, maybe I will get a post in before I leave on Wednesday. It all depends on what we do this weekend. Goodbye July!

More Florida pictures

Here are some more pictures of my time with mommy in Florida. I had so much fun.


I loved Howie's office. One of the things I liked to do was climb into his chair and spin around! It was fun.


Here is Lili and I in the pool. I would only go to her or mommy because Howie dunked me in too many times.


I like to give kisses now. Here I am giving mommy one. This also became my favorite place to climb and sit while everyone was in the pool.


I love to read books. I climb into the chair and read to myself. I was reading Clifford that day.


This is me brushing my teeth after my shower. Howie would give me a shower since mommy couldn't do it. Then I would sit on the counter with Lili and brush my teeth. I love to brush my teeth now. It's so much fun.

18 month stats

I just got home from my appointment and I was a good girl! I only got one shot today and I didn't cry at all for it. I only cried when the doctor tried to look into my ears and when the nurse tried to take my temperature with the ear thermometer. The doctor said I look great! My belly button hole is closing and I just need to keep doing sit ups for it to help close fully. I also pooped twice while I was in there! Luckily for Dr. Weinstein it was right before he came into the room! Here are my stats:
height-35.5 inches- off the charts
weight-30.2 pounds- 99th percentile or so, but he said it was ok as long as I have been consistent
head circumference-19.5 in-off the charts

--finds the comb or brush and "brushes" her hair

--will now kick her feet in the pool
--gets up on chairs to read a book


I am drawing a blank on the other stuff. But she is one smart cookie. I will try and upload some pictures tonight from Florida, there are many cute ones!

Just got home

Mommy took me to see Lili and Howie in Florida last week, so I didn't get the chance to blog. They kept me busy down there! I got to go swimming everyday and I loved it. It was so much fun. I learned to kick in the water and even jump into someone's arms from the steps. I will write more about it and post pictures later this afternoon after my doctor appt. It's time to nap before I go.

Happy 4th of July! Happy Birthday Grammy!

This morning the Durhams came over so we could all go to the parade. We walked from the house to the downtown Fairfax. It was exactly a mile. Ellie and I shared our new double stroller. Everyone took turns pushing us because we were heavy. Daddy put me on his shoulders and I got to watch the parade as it went by. We watched for about 2 hours and then we tried to pick a place to go eat. Red Hot and Blue was the winner, so Mr. Ryan ran ahead to make sure we could get a seat. We walked there and sat right down, thanks to Mr. Ryan. I ate some sweet potato fries and mini corn dogs. I even picked off Daddy's salad. I was getting really fussy towards the end because I was so tired. Ellie even ate some of my lunch, everyone was shocked! After everyone was done eating they packed us back up in our stroller and we walked the 1.4 miles back to the house. I fell asleep in the stroller on the way back. Once daddy picked me up to take me inside, I was awake. I got a clean diaper and was put down for a nap, but I decided I was too awake to nap again. After a while of playing daddy came in and played with me and then left. However he even left my door open, so I screamed and screamed until someone came to get me. Mommy didn't get to sleep, but daddy did, says mommy.

It was then time to have a snack because I was hungry. I ate some blueberries and drank my milk. We played for a bit and then mommy got me dressed again to head over to Grammy and Grampys house for dinner to celebrate Grammys birthday. Coco even came along for the ride. Dinner was yummy, thanks grampy! I danced around in circles until I got dizzy, waving my American flags. It was fun. Then it was time to come home and have a shower. Now it's time for bed. Good night all. Happy Birthday America and Grammy!

Gymnastics class

Daddy has been taking me to gymnastics class on Saturday mornings. This was from two weeks ago, the first class when Mommy came with us. There is no class this Saturday because of the holiday. I enjoy it.

I was so excited to start class, I couldn't wait to be let in the door!

Big Girl Bed

It has not gone so well, so mommy and daddy have decided it wasn't the right time. I just think that it is time to play when I am in there instead of sleep. But here is a picture from the only night I spent in there.
