Today I was a model!!

Today I went with mommy, grampy and grammy to David's Bridal to try on flower girl dresses. I got to be a model. Here are some of the dresses I tried on:


This was the all around favorite.




This was a cute one too, we just added the bow to match the colors.


This was another cute one. It was too big on me though, so they didn't bother tying the back of the dress correctly.

They are all cute. Auntie O and Uncle Eric will have a hard time deciding!

Potty time!

Mommy keeps insisting that I sit on the big girl potty to go poop. As soon as I started grunting she took me and ran to the bathroom this morning. I just sat there and played with my toy. Here are a couple pictures that mommy took.



Oh and I still haven't gone into the toilet yet! I'll make sure to post when I do!

I started to walk more!!

Here is a video, but you will have to turn your heads!! Daddy needs to help me learn how to turn it.
This was yesterday at the library playgroup. Mommy can't decide if it's because of the new shoes she got me or the open space in the library. But I was on the move. Everyone was very impressed with me! It is very exciting. I even went to grammy and grampy's house yesterday and they got to see it too.

Yesterday's adventures

Mommy took me all over the place yesterday. First we went to Walmart in Alexandria and waited in line for 35 minutes to return something. I was eating goldfish the whole time! Then we walked around the store and mommy bought me my first potty! I'll come back to that later. She started to get frustrated because they were out of everything she wanted. We left there and went to the Carters store. I got antsy in my stroller and she put me in front of their toys to play with as she looked around. She got me some cute summer pj's! Then we went to the shoe store that is going out of business and I decided to grab all the shoe boxes I could find as mommy was trying to find me shoes. She again was frustrated. Poor mommy. My feet haven't grown either since the last time they were checked. I am still a size 4. Mommy wonders if that is why I am still not walking. I only take two steps now on my own. Hopefully I will want to walk before I am two, so then I can be a cute flower girl in Uncle Eric's wedding. But I got three pair of shoes for super cheap! Mommy was excited about that.
We then went to Noodles and Company so I could have some lunch. Mommy thought I was antsy because I barely ate my lunch at home. I ate some mac and cheese and drank water from the big cup. I was still naughty during lunch. But mommy had one more stop to make, the grocery store. Come to find out that that store had a different weekly ad than the one we usually go to, so again mommy wasn't very happy. She had to buy me raspberries because I again was being naughty. I just wasn't happy. Mommy isn't sure if its my teeth or my ear again. I don't really know either since I can't tell her what is wrong. We finally left and I didn't sleep in the long car ride home. I was too busy playing with some old toys that I haven't played with in a while.
On the way home mommy made us stop at the other Walmart to get what daddy wanted. I was much better this time. Mommy thanked me. I handed the cashier the tension rod and we went home. Mommy and I played in the playroom, but I whined the whole time. Then I ate some dinner. After dinner, mommy put me on my new potty. I wasn't sure what to do. I just sat there and played with everything else in my view. I didn't use it. So then I went into the bathtub for my bath and daddy came home. I went to bed around my normal time.

This morning after breakfast mommy put me on the potty again, but this time I got to sit on the potty mommy uses with my potty seat. I sat and sat and did nothing again. I think I like the big potty better than the little one. Of course after mommy put my diaper back on I went poop! So mommy had to change me anyways.

I hope mommy figures out what is wrong with me! All for now, I have to go get ready for a play group at the library. Bye.

Here are some recent pictures of me. Blogger finally let me upload some pictures. There aren't any most recent ones of me because mommy and daddy didn't upload the pictures from the camera, so the memory card was full.

Here is my goofy face. If you look really closely at my hair, it was out of control that day! Mommy thought it was funny.

This past weekend was really hot, I'm not sure I am ready for summer. I was sweating so much that my hair looked like I just washed it. Gross. But mommy and daddy took me to Occoquan with Grampy and Grammy. We went to brunch at the restaurant where Uncle Eric and soon to be Auntie O will get married. It's really pretty. Mommy has good taste in picking places! I ate some of daddy's fish sandwich and some chicken fingers. Daddy introduced me to ketchup, I really like it. Yummy. I wouldn't eat anything else without a drop of ketchup on the food. I also got to see the water and the ducks. I was pointing to the ducks and making the quack symbol with my hands...mommy was so proud. I got that from music class when we sing the duck song! :) I'm so smart. ;) That is really all we did this weekend, it was pretty low key.

Today I am going to go to Ellie's house to play with a bunch of my friends. I am so excited. I can't wait to play with someone else's toys. Last week I didn't get to see any of my friends, it was lonely. Maybe after the playdate, mommy will post some pictures for me. If she takes any of course! Till another time....

15 month stats

Weight- 28 pounds 1 ounce
Height- 32.5 inches
Head- huge (not sure of the number!)

She has actually gone down to the 95th percentile in height, but is still around the 98th for head and weight. Thats our girl! ;)

She got 5 shots today. She started screaming as soon as the first one went in. Poor baby. But was a champ as soon as I picked her up afterwards. The doctor said she looks great and is just cautious with her walking! We will stick to that! Her ears have healed as well, we just have two more doses of medicine to go. All in all it was a great visit, other than them making me fill out information all over again. They even asked me if the patient was the primary insurance card holder! Yes, my 15 month old daughter is a genius and makes all the money in the household! At this point, she might! ha. ;)
I still cant add a picture, so maybe I will restart my computer and try later.

I've been slacking!

Poor Haley doesn't get the opportunity to blog as much anymore. We have all been sick and cranky and it feels like all we do is sleep! :) Not that I am complaining about that. But 2 posts for April is pretty sad! But tomorrow is her 15 month check up, so I will definitely have her post after that.
This past weekend, she got to see her Great Auntie Carolyn. She had a blast with her and showed her that she could really eat! Daddy took her to play with his family as mommy went to Auntie Lindsey's baby shower. It was amazing, she looked great. I can only dream that I would look like that 31 weeks pregnant!

I have some great photos on the camera that I need to share with you all, however I can't find the cord to attach the camera to the laptop. Minor details and of course our 8GB memory card is out of memory. Only we can do that! ha.

I was going to put in some videos and pics, however blogspot doesnt seem to like me at the moment! Thanks a lot! :)

I guess I can tell you more about what Haley is doing at the moment.
--still isnt really walking more than 10 steps on her own, on a good day
--point to what she wants
--this morning she pointed to some puffs and did the sign for more (totally out of the blue!)
--babbling all the time!
--says Boo, Coco, dada, mama, baba and other things that are unknown!
--will hold your hand and walk a good distance
--waddles on cue!
--is just very interactive with us now
--points to her nose, belly button, ears and head. (way behind on this! her friends are making her look bad!)
--likes to climb up and down the stairs like a big person...kinda scary!
--picks up things and puts them away where they belong
--if she knocks something on the floor, she will now pick it up and put it back!
--will shake her head no when asked something! this is a fun one.
--understands a ton. for example the other day she had drum sticks in her hands, so i was pointing to the drum and she crawled over to it and started drumming away. it was so cute!
--will play the piano for long amounts of time (there is a video of this, but its way too big to put on here!)

I think that is all that I can think of at the moment. We will post again tomorrow and hopefully be able to put some pics up with it. Till then....

We are all back!

And sick. :( Haley has another ear infection, so she has been miserable since Sunday. She just started feeling better today, I guess the antibiotics kicked in. Thank goodness!! She had fevers of 103.4, etc for a couple days, and those are finally gone as well. At least we get to sleep through the night again!

That is all we have for now of course. Oh and she isn't walking much more than a couple steps still. She prefers to hold on still and crawl! Oh well.

Mommy checkin in...

It's been a while since we have posted as daddy has broken my laptop and we don't share one very well! Haley is walking more but no more than 8-9 steps still. She prefers to walk places, but with hand holding or things around her. She is into climbing onto things, the chairs, tables, her toys, etc. She has two molars that have broken through the gums and maybe one or two others, not sure we haven't been able to look.
She has been to Grayer's and Lorelei's first birthday parties the past two weeks and had a blast. She loved exploring the new places to play with her buddies.

So we will check in again on Easter Sunday hopefully. Haley is with her daddy, cousins, uncle, aunt and grandfather at Disney World. Hope she survives being in a car that long!
