Last Night

Daddy insisted on going to the new library last night, so he dragged mommy and I out of the nice warm house to go with him. Before we left though, I spit up all over daddy, so he had to go change his shirt. Mommy had spicy chili the day before, its her fault! But I got to see the new library and from what mommy and daddy say its a whole lot better than the old library. I slept through the whole library trip. Then mommy and daddy wanted to eat, so they tried a new Thai restaurant in Burke. I started to get hungry. I made it so they couldnt finish their meal and had to take it home. I screamed the whole car ride, daddy drove pretty fast because of that. But I got my way! Mommy got to finish her meal when daddy was burping me. Then grammy and grampy came for a visit. I tried to spit up on grampy too, but he was protected. No fair! I kept daddy up all night because of the spicy chili mommy ate the night before. Mommy got to sleep the whole night until I woke up at 5 this morning for breakfast. Poor daddy, but I bet mommy was thankful.

Im still waiting for mommy or daddy to upload my first bath pictures, so you all can see them. Oh yea, my baptism is on the 23rd of this month. I'm pretty excited. Then my one month party/open house is on the 24th from 1-6, you all better be there!

Todays picture I share with you is when mommy and godmommy went shopping. They bought me this silly looking hat that matches my outfit. We cant figure out if it is a tomato or a strawberry. But here I am with my new purchase.

My First Post

Today has been boring so far. My mommy keeps trying to get me to go to sleep so she can do things around the house and get my thank you notes done, but I keep refusing. I have had a pretty adventurous first three weeks of my life. This past Sunday, my parents decided to give me my first bath. They did this when I was hungry, so I was not a happy camper. They also washed me in the kitchen sink like I am one of the cats, not cool! But anyways, I am clean now until I poop all over myself again. I will post some pictures of that bath really soon. Yesterday, mommy took me to a breastfeeding group at the hospital where I was born. I was fine until all these other babies started to cry while I was trying to sleep. Then mommy woke me up when she stripped me to get my weight. I ate a lot this past week, I gained 11 ounces! I now weigh 9 pounds 11 ounces! Pretty soon, all these clothes they keep putting me in arent going to fit, I'll show them. After the class, mommy and I watched 7 episodes of past ER's on TV. Daddy came home and he kept covering my head with a blankey, will someone please tell him that light doesnt bother me. Our nice neighbor, Ellie came over and brought mommy and daddy some chili, cornbread and cookies for dinner. I just hope mommy's milk doesnt taste funny after eating all that spicy chili!

Well I am getting sleepy now, so I will post some pictures of me in the past three weeks. Then you get to see how cute I am, and how much I am growing. Enjoy!
